You can use this direct link to go to checkout.

But what do you actually do with these resources? Here is my four step process for using new books:

Step 1) Make sure your resource actually downloaded.

I know i keep harping on this, but it really is the best tip to know. Go to the Command bar and type: “Update now” to download the latest updates.

Step 1

Step 2) Find the book in your library and open it.

Step 2

Especially if you have a larger library, it can be difficult to find your latest resources. That’s why I encourage steps three and four.

Step 3) Adjust titles if necessary.

Here, you see that I’ve added the complete title for the book.

Step 3 A

To do this, I select the information icon from the book screen. It’s the “i” icon with a circle around it in the upper right hand corner.

Step 3 B

Then, simply click the pencil icon to edit. I’ve also included the shorter title as well. This will help your resources show up when you skim through your library.

Step 4) Add tags.

Below the description, I’ve added several tags to help me find this resource again later.

Step 4

I try to add at least five tags for every new resource I add to my library.

Pro Tip:

You can find your most recently added resources with the following steps:

  1. Open the library menu.
  2. Right click on the header bar.
  3. Select “Last Updated” from the drop down menu.

Step 4 PRO

That’s it! Now your new book is ready to use.

Next week, I’ll share part two of my Free Book of the Month series, and show you what you can do with this month’s free book.
